Translation

We provide complete translations of all types of documents. Producing a quality translation requires a network of skilled people, each specializing in one aspect of the translation process. Each project is evaluated, tailored to your specific needs, and assigned to a translator within their areas of expertise. Once finished, a second translator proofreads each translated document in order to ensure consistent use of terminology and accuracy of the translation itself. Our staff follows each translation project from start to finish, so you can be assured to receive timely, accurate, and personalized service.

It is important to understand that languages differ from each other in many aspects beside the terminology. Structure of sentence, and grammar can differ greatly. Some idioms, highly technical vocabulary, slang, and/or cultural concepts may not have linguistic equivalency in either English or the other language. Due to these differences no meaningful translation can be done with a word-for-word translation. Such a literal translation would give distorted message and often be ridiculous and even offensive. As an example: “She likes hot food,” is a message that is referring either to the temperature of the food or the flavor, and “having a beef with someone” isn’t actually referring to sharing of food. Therefore, rather than translating literarily word-for-word, our translators are focusing on the concept and the context of the message.
